Original-software modification

Glasshouse

Manage your LG TV locally, reduce ads and telemetry, and connect it to Home Assistant.

Independent community project. Device reports come from original sources, not testing by Deviceways.

How to get started

Start with a rooted TV and Homebrew Channel. Install from a computer on the same network, then open the local dashboard.

Setup
Install a service on a rooted webOS TV
You’ll need
Rooted LG webOS TV, Homebrew Channel and a computer with Git. Home Assistant integration also needs an MQTT broker.

Root access is required before installation. Controls vary by webOS version; advanced service-menu changes need separate care.
