Run the MCP server on a computer, connect your assistant and select a Cast receiver on the same local network.

You’ll need
Python 3.11+, an MCP-capable assistant and a Cast receiver. Finding media by name also needs a separate search tool.

The project documents Cast control without an exact-model test list. This is KTCrisis's media-control server, not the separate Chromecast provisioning project.
